Digital Signage Book.
Well if you aren’t into the Harry Potter series, here’s a book that may spark your interest. And no, I’m not talking about Fabelhaven (which incidentally is illustrated by an old roommate’s brother-in-law). I’m speaking of a new digital signage book! That’s right, a book about digital signage. Digital Signage Today calls it a must read! One portion of the review stated the following:
“No matter what it is called — dynamic display, retail TV, narrowcasting or electronic signage — digital signage has accelerating momentum as a powerful marketing, staff and patron communications instrument.
While I am pleased to have been one of the people mentioned, the book includes references to many, many of the people, suppliers, networks, advertisers and organizations that comprise the billion-dollar industry.”
Written by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the book simply shows how digital signage offers a “offer a powerful extension of or a cost-effective alternative to television advertising.” Personally, I don’t think it sounds too interesting, but it’d probably be pretty important to read if you’re in the industry
