Because I captain my own destiny, no other person or entity shall govern my future. I cannot blame my problems on my genes, or lack of interpersonal involvement—or too much interpersonal involvement. My motives for good or evil cannot be placed on the stained collar of another’s misdeeds. The past is irrelevant in its relation to the present and future, only to serve as a guidebook for future success and a warning sign for possible failure. There are no shortcuts either. The road is windy, yet strait.

Although mankind has made huge strides in virtually every direction but up, there still remains more to be discovered and more work to be done.

Your future rests in your hands. Now is the time to grab it. We cannot look through the glass darkly into tomorrow and say we will act, when we can see magnified ever so clearly today’s reality. Don’t waste time in worry, but work. Be diligent, yet relaxed. Even still, time must be found in the service of others.

Remember thoughts are the seeds that reap rewards unparalleled. Control them and you shall truly be master of anything you desire. However, thoughts unsown are as useless as seeds fed to the birds. Action must follow the sown thought. When ennobling thoughts arise in you, follow them with quick, immediate ennobling actions. For this separates the great thinkers from the great successes. In short, now is the time and day of your salvation!

  1. Nate…You need a girlfriend. If you would spend as much time looking for a wife as you do writing posts you would be married. I enjoy your posts though…:)
