Well, the long waited for day has finally arrived: Twitter is finally testing out some ads on with their texts. And, does it surprise anyone? Not really. At least it shouldn’t. They’ve strategically positioned themselves for this all along. I mean think about it for just one second. They’re doing it ALL for free to get people addicted and their only allowing messages of 140 characters. Standard SMS allows for 160 characters, which means they’ve been setting it up for ads since inception. They now have 20 characters an ad with which to make money. Perfect. I only wish I had had the money and the ability to think of it first. Awesome concept.
